Sephora VIB Haul

Walking in Sephora is like walking in a candy store with the desire to come out with a bag full of candies and a happy face. And it gets even sweeter when there is a SALE!

Like any needy kid I had my desire to fill my bag with as many things as possible. So I did end up getting few bits and bobs which I have been wanting to try for ages. And guess what without paying a penny (*inserts a shocking face emoji*)! And if you haven’t read this post where I share my secret to  penny-less Sephora shopping spree then I encourage you to check it out.

Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette :

Where do I even begin with the this one. There has been a huge hype around this palette for all the good reasons. If you are having any second thoughts about this one, then I would highly suggest you give into your temptation and bit the bullet. It worth every penny and is STUNNING.

Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer :

Now I was quite excited to try this. Since it reminded me of Urban Decay naked concealer, which is legit my all time favorite concealer. However the color is a bit off for me since I felt it had more of a grayish or maybe greenish undertone. Do products like these have gray undertones? I’m clueless,I think I’m really bad at defining undertones, haha. But I didn’t feel right to use is underneath the eyes. However for concealing any spots on my face it blended perfectly with my skin and concealed pretty well. Though I felt it did wear off after a couple of hours. So I have quite mixed feelings about this one.

Beauty Blender Pro :

I thought there was an overrated hype around this product, but boy was I utterly wrong or what. This is the squishiest sponge I have ever used even when its not wet.  For the love of perfectly blended and the most natural looking foundation you need this in your life, if you haven’t already tried it.

Burberry Brow Pencil :

I have been wanting a brow pencil ever since I used up my Trestique one which is amazing by the way. I thought of trying Burberry since it had great reviews. It has a flat fat nib just like the trestique one which makes it easier to use, specially when you are in a rush. I love how smooth and creamy it is, yet doesn’t move or melt off your face. If you are looking to try something Burberry then this won’t disappoint you.

Hourglass Vanishing Stick Foundation :

I just had to get this one. It’s very well rated all over the blogger world. And I had to jump on the band wagon. It’s a beautiful medium to full coverage, radiant,  non cake-y formula which is perfect for a dry/normal skin types. And I absolutely love it.

Hourglass truth gloss

Hourglass Lipgloss In Truth :

I have a crazy lip-product obsession and especially when it comes to lip glosses. Those were the very first makeup products I ventured into after kohl/kajal pencils. And this is a beautiful, semi opaque, high shine lip gloss. Which I can easily slather on without the need of wearing any other lip product underneath. It applies luxuriously and adapts to the skin color ever so slightly, that it’s always a joy applying it.

Kat Von D Bow And Arrow Liquid Lipstick :

Ever since I heard Lydia (if you don’t know who she is, then go check her out) talk about it and wear it, I been itching to get it. It’s not your every day mauve-y pinky nude, its a beautiful muted medium dark beige so so perfect for those sophisticated natural looks. Absolutely love it.

Sephora Fan Brush :

One of the makeup brushes I have been dying to get is a fan brush. There are tones and tones of fan brushes in the market you can get any. But I absolutely adore the look of Sephora brushes, so classy. And since they were on sale why. But seriously when it comes to applying highlighter there is not better tool than a fan brush I’m a fan 😉

Phew that was quite a lot of stuff, ekks! What were you picks from Sephora during the sale, do let me know?
