Best Lava Cake recipe

Since the air has started to cool down a little bit, and the excitement for fall has started to sink in, yet there is a sad feeling of leaving the summer behind. And in the middle of that disturb mind state when you want to jump right into the fall season and yet are terrified of harsh winter days. All you want to do is open up the windows and doors, soak in the every last bit of that sun with a breeze of cool air and whip up some lave cake!!! And this is the best recipe to calm down the weather anxious nerve! lol.     And if you are a chocolate lover my friend, mmmmmm, well you sure are in for a treat.

What you’ll need :

1 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

5 Tbsp Unsalted Butter

1/2 Tsp Instant Coffee

1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

2 Whole eggs

2 Egg Yolks 

1/4 Tsp Salt

1/4 Cup Flour

Cooking Spray.

For Garnishing :

Confectioner Sugar

Vanilla Ice-Cream


Chocolate ribbon/flakes

Method :

Preheat Oven at 450˚f / 230˚C, and spray ramekins with cooking spray.

Melt chocolate with butter in the microwave in 30 sec increments until melted and smooth.

Add instant coffee(what this does is, it brings out the flavour of chocolate).

Add salt and vanilla and give it a stir, then add eggs and egg yolks.

Stir in the flour, and the fill the ramekins.

Bake for 10 mins and not more than that, the centre should be a bit concave.

Flip over on a plate, and serve it with vanilla ice-cream.
