October Favorites

october favorites

I can’t believe its been over a month now, since we moved from the UK. With that, October has been rather a busy month with car hunting, furniture hunting, putting together the new furniture, lots of socializing, birthday parties and all that fun stuff.

So with lots of socializing came in a lot of getting ready nights and putting on a pretty face. So here are some of my absolute favorite things from the month of October

Pixi Glow Tonic : I swear I haven’t broken out so bad in the history of my puberty memories, when I did quite frequently broke out with a few random pimple heads, but this time with 3 crazy ginormous out breaks, I was horrified/mortified, and wondered, is my skin turning over on me at my late twenties? !!

But well with all the other soothing and toning down measures that I took, to clear my skin, I have a feeling this glow tonic definitely helped in calming down the situation and boy did it add radiance to the skin or what? Now I see what the hype was all about. Definitely this has gained a permanent entry into my daily skincare routine.

Anastasia Brow Dip In Chocolate : Love, love, love this, for a quick and easy eyebrow groom.

By Terry Blackstar Omber Eyeshadow in Bronze Moon : Easy-one-swipe-and-go-kind-of-the most-flattering-eyeshadow in the world. Definitely a must have shade for anyone who is starting of on makeup and is scared of wearing eyeshadows, this is a game changer, but if the price point bothers you, here are the more affordable dupes for this one.

Nyx Orange Concealer : This might not be the best product in the category for correcting the under-eye, since I feel its a bit too dry of a formula but I have learned my way to using it. However I don’t think so I would be repurchasing it or who knows I will but, I know there are a lot more better products out there then this one. Confused much? Then why is this in a favorites posts, well this has been a part of my makeup routine every-time I wear makeup I don’t know what would I have had done without this, because concealers alone don’t work on me, I have that bad of an under-eye situation.

Urban Decay Naked Concealer : The formula is amazing, its creamy enough to blend easily yet sets in place and doesn’t budge, absolutely love the texture and color match. Really good for anyone who has dry under-eye area.

Soap & Glory Kiss Ass Powder : A very finely milled pressed powder so amazing to set the under-eye concealer that you need this in your life. Definitely check this out if you are at Boots or anywhere, where you can get hold of this.

Urban Decay Naked Flushes Palette : This has been a very well loved palette, the highlighter is the showstopper of this palette, it is the most insanely gorgeous highlighter I have in my collection I feel, and the blush shade is super flattering too. I just can’t get enough of this palette.

Pro Kabuki Flat Contour Blusher Brush : This is a gorgeous affordable dupe for Nars yachiyo brush, great brush to set the under-eye concealer, good for highlighting as well and hey it makes a great prop for the instagram pictures 😉

Kiko Rebel Romantic Lip Liner in No.1 : Prettiest, creamiest and insanely beautiful lip liner. I have been lining my lips with this liner every time I had a party to go to, layering some other lip product on top or sometimes wearing this alone. I’m kind of scared to use it now since the thought of running out it makes me sad.

Black and Decker Lithium Ion Cordless Matrix Drill : This has literally been a total life saver and energy saver. Since I had almost put together all our house furniture, this little guy came in handy and I love it so much, it made screwing up the furniture a piece of cake. Super sturdy and efficient machine, and best of all it was cordless. (This has probably been by far the random-est favorite featured on a beauty blog haha).

Last but not the least, favorite human/blogger has to be Paula from thirteenthoughts.com, if you haven’t read the high tea and beauty with paula definitely check it out 🙂

Hope you all had a fun-filled October, and what were your beauty favorites? Also I would absolutely love to hear about your random favorites too!
