2014 Favourite : Part II

Onto skincare, haircare and my favourite fragrances. I never used to be much into skincare, just cleanse and moistures is what used to be a ritual for me, but thanks to the late 20’s (*takes a big sad gulp*, I still can’t get over the fact that I’m past 25), none-the-less, I have become more conscious about my skin then ever before. With that being said here are the things that I have been loving…

Skincare :

– Organic Surge Daily Cleanser : This has to be by far the best face cleanser I have ever used, it’s gentle, nourishing and quite soothing to the skin, leave the skin squeaky clean without striping down the moisture or making to feel too tight.

– Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser : Since I left my favourite cleanser at home, I had to pick this up, I have to say, it’s more for a self indulgent, spa night, than for a regular use, cause the whole process of cleansing with a cloth each time did kind of broke me out, but it’s an amazing, amazing make-up remover, which is why I end up using it each night. Maybe its not the cleanser may it is because I had  too many sweets that I consumed made me break-out, but whatever it is, I will get back to you on cleanser review very soon.

Ole Henriksen Truth Collagen Serum : I have through several bottle of this awesomeness, its that good, its refreshing and uplifting scent, the fact that it get absorbed quickly and leaves you feeling plump and radiant, its by far my favourite skincare product.

Rosehip Oil – It’s been a year now that I haven’t used any moistures on my face during day time except for this oil, and rose hip oil seems to suit my skin which is very normal- and sometimes dry. And it doesn’t feel greasy at all or make you look like a shiny disco ball.

Kiehls Mid Night Recovery Concentrate : It’s a magic potion for the skin, I don’t know what it has, and what it does, but you wake up with a fresh new, beautiful face every morning.

Burt’s Bee Radiant Eye : For the day time, its perfect not too thick, or grease, just perfect for hydrating the under eye.

The Body Shop’s Aloe Lip Balm : If you are dry, cracked, painful lips, this is the answer to your prayers.

HairCare And FaceMasks :

– Coconut Oil : What can I say about this, it’s all over the internet how amazing coconut oil is for your hair and skin, I like to give my self hot oil massage, followed by steaming, each time before washing my hair. And rinse my hair with super cold water, and this has definitely help calm down my frizz, and improved how my hair looks.

– Forest Essential Sandalwood Masque* : This is just an amazing mask, I have a whole on this you can check it out here.

– Glam Glow Thirsty Mud and Hydrating Mask : Again  I don’t have to say anything about this, it’s a quick fix before going to an event when you didn’t have much time to do the fancy facial shebang, all I do is slap on the thirst mud mask for good 20 mins followed by hydrating mask and I’m ready to rock and roll.

Fragrance :

Burberry Brit Sheer* : It’s floral, fruity, it just instantly makes me happy, even though it’s longetivity is poor on me, still I just love it on a day to day basis.

Marc Jacobs Daisy : It’s such a feminine, floral-woody scent, I just can’t resisting giving my self a sniff whenever I wear this. It’s soo seductive and delicious, even though its more of a spring/summer scent, I can’t help but wear it all year round.

– Chanel Mademoiselle* : It’s smell womanly, expensive and extravagant. It just makes me feel ubberly confident every time I wear it, it’s my that “special” occasion companion.
