Home Made Remedy For : Acne Scars, Discoloration, Hyperpigmentation

Homemade remedy for hyperpigmentation

Natural products, found in your kitchen are much more effective and wonderful for you when it comes to taking care of your skin. Despite of using and investing in skin care products. I have always found myself reaching for this cleanser/mask as soon as I feel my skin is getting out of control and nothing else seems to fix the problem – be it breakouts, dullness or even discoloration. It’s even a wonderful mask to remove tan. Basically it’s an all rounder mask for fabulously glowing skin.

Now, that is the difference between a fair girl as compared to a desi girl. The moment it warms up, sun bathing becomes a routine, everyone starts to whip out there bronzers, fake tans and what not, and us Indians we are always looking out for products to get rid of that ugly tan. Well it does look dirty on me (at times), because too much sun exposure = to a roasted chicken look #desigirlproblems.

So here is my skin rescuer cleanser/mask recipe, which not only helps remove the tan, but is super effective for removing acne scars, help deal with discoloration and uneven skin tone and also helps brightening the complexion.

What you will need :-

2 Tbsp Almond Flour
2 Tbsp Chickpea Flour
A pinch of Turmeric
2-3 Strands of Saffron (Crushed and mixed with Rose water)
3-4 Drops Of Lemon Juice
Few Drops Of Almond Oil
1 Tsp Of Yogurt

Rose water for adjusting the consistence.

Mix all the ingredients until it forms a thick paste, then gently massage this mixture onto the skin, for gentle exfoliation, then leave it for 10-15 minutes. Once it drys, spritz some rose water to loosen it up and wash your face with warm water. After your face is all clean, wrap an ice cube in a muslin cloth and rub all over the face. You will have baby soft, flawless skin in minutes.

Definitely give this a go, if you are not allergic to nuts or dairy. It’s a wonderful effective cleanser/mask(well at-least for me). But make sure you use this consistently. And you will be wowed by the results. I make a weeks worth of batch and store it in the fridge.

Also I’d love to know your DIY secrets, so don’t forget to share them.
