Lovin’ Lately || October Edit

October Favorites 2016

My head it still spinning around the fact that how this year has unwound itself and has almost come in full circle towards the end of 2016. I still clearly remember the day I de-boarded the plane because my daughter wasn’t ready to leave her grand parents. And how few months ago I was stressing over sending her to the school and then now its been more than 3 months she has been going to school. What the what, how did it all move soo fast. But that brings me to the happy phase where there is holiday aroma in the air, the sale season. Red lipsticks, fuzzy socks, a little magic of snow show and of-course hot chocolate.

But that still is a few weeks away, and for now I wanted to share with you the things that I have been lovin’ for the month of September and October.

Algenist Anti aging cream

There are a tone of new products that I have hoarded over the past few months, makeup and skincare wise. And I have to say I have been rather enjoying a good night time skincare routine. I love to do the regular cleansing, toning, serum-ing? and moisturizing. And Algenist has been working really, really well for my skin. I have been literally obsessed with their Retinol Serum and their Genius anti-ageing cream. I love how plump and fresh my skin looks in the morning. Along side the Algenist goodies I’m back again in love with my Pixi glow tonic this time in the on the go packaging. It’s seriously is amazing. It gently exfoliates the skin and as the name says infuses the skin with that glow”.

That being said I have been keeping it rather simple with my makeup, I think I say that every time haha, and that’s how I like my makeup — subtle and fresh. But since October is a special month I have been wearing or rather worn a full face of makeup two three times atleast, because of all the festivities and our fifth anniversary.  So I have a tone of makeup stuff to share from this past two months.

To start with, I’m obsessed with Tom Ford beauty, it’s bloody expensive and unfortunately good too. And that’s a dangerous combination. If there is one thing you would want to splurge onto from Tom Ford I’d have to say, it will be their eye defining pen. It’s amazing – blackest of the black, long wearing, non fading, pretty darn easy to apply and for the rest of the details I have reviewed it right here go check it out. For concealer I’m still in love with my Estee Lauder double wear waterproof concealer it has seriously kicked every other concealers ass in my stash. For mascara, I have been mostly wearing/loving the Armani eccentrico up until a two weeks ago. When I pulled out my Loreal telescopic mascara and fell right back in love with it, there is something about it that I keep going back to it again and again.

Tom Ford Honeymoon quad

For eyeshadow palette there is only one that I’m totally obsessing over and if you have been following me on instagram and have been here on the blog, then there is no surprise and I know by now you must have guessed it. It’s the Tom Ford Honeymoon palette Ohh MY God!!! To see the eyeshadows in action check out this post here, I’m sure you’ll totally fall in love with it. It’s beyond stunning.

For face, there is nothing better than Estee Lauder double wear nude cushion foundation, its perfect
for me. Light weight, medium coverage, long-lasting, right color and
the natural glow that it imparts, mmm lovely. And if you want a full
review on this, you can read it here. For blush its been hard to keep
the Marc jacobs air blush in Kink and kisses down but I have rekindled
with my old old love

Mac fleur power, I think its one of my very first blush purchases and now I know why I bought it. Its so pretty and flattering. For highlighter I have been wearing the Estee Lauder bronze goddess collection face palette highlighter, its seriously stunning, and I swear I’m not sponsored by Estee Lauder, its just that I have been totally in love with their products. And also theBalm Mary Lou is a classic for no reason it’s absolutely a darling when it comes to dressing up for special occasions.

Charlotte Tilbury The Queen

I’m a total bore when it comes to lips I love sticking to my neutrals for everyday and rarely go out of the box to pick up a different shade. But since it was a little festive these past few days I have been loving some richer bolder colors. Charlotte Tilbury The Queen, the stunner in my collection. It’s so mmmm I don’t know…  Gorgeous would be an understatement, when it comes to CT lipsticks I think she nails it. And this color in particular is a must in any  lipstick fanatics collection. Nars Cruella, the one red lipstick I’m not scared to wear and I never get bullied for wearing by my husband, haha. He hates red lipsticks for some odd reasons. It’s the red that beats the pants of all the reds. It not just a beautiful rich berry red but the texture, the vivid color pay off, the non drying formula everything is just incredible about this lipstick and I absolutely adore it. For my basic boring neutrals I love the combination of Mac spice and velvet teddy, bond girl from CT is one that I’m unable to debond with – it’s the my lips but berries better.

And finally to keep my makeup in place and even to keep my skin looking radiant I have been loving the Armani Prima face mist spray thing, smells so luxurious and definitely does make me feel uber luxurious too.

So what have you been loving lately?
