July Favorites

July Favorites

Happy August ladies. July seemed like a pretty awesome yet super hectic month. Despite of aiming to blog more, my schedule seemed to run the opposite direction, shame *inserts a monkey hiding the face emoji*!    But that being said I’m kick starting August with my monthly favorites. With few beauty bites and a couple of random bits too, to make things interesting or maybe boring for some haha. Anyway …

SKINCARE

Acne free skincare routine

Real-U Face cleanser* : I’m in love with gentle cleanser, as I had been breaking out a lot for the past couple of months, this cleanser has helped in keeping my skin clear. And can I just admire the fact, that it’s super gentle on the skin.

Ole Henriksen Night Serum : I have been a huge, huge fan of the Vit C brightening serum from the same brand, and have gone through atleast 4-5 bottles of it. So I thought of trying something else, and I’m in love with this serum. I don’t even know how to describe it, all I know is, when I wake up in the morning I have well rested glowing skin awaiting to welcome my morning on the other side of the mirror. I guess its the magic of glycolic acid. And it has definitely played a role in clearing up my acne too.

Derma Roller : I have been quite consistent in using this tool, it’s a wonderful treatment specially helps in healing the acne scars. I have been following a special skin care routine twice every week, to clear up acne scaring and just maintaining a healthy looking skin. And this guy plays an important role in that routine. Well I make it sound like I had a bad acne, well it wasn’t as crazy as I make it sound. But definitely alarming since I rarely broke out.

Tula Eye cream* : I got a little tiny sample which I have been using for over a month now. I have to say it did last a long, considering the size of the tube. Honestly when I started using it, I didn’t expect anything out of it. As I didn’t quite get along with the moisturizer from tula, only for the fact I couldn’t bare the fragrance of it. But this eye cream, was fragrance free which I’m super thankful for, as I continued using it. And I have to say, it has immensely helped in diminishing my under-eye circles which I’m overly conscious of. Definitely getting the full size of this gem.

BEAUTY

July Beauty Favorites

Estee Lauder Double Wear Waterproof concealer*  : SUMMERHEAT + HOUSE SHIFTING = CRAZY SHIT SWEATING, and the last thing you would want to bother or faff around would be to check if your makeup is melting off your face. Then again weirdo’s like me would bother to wear makeup haha. No we had lots of invites amidst our move time. So, I would just apply a bit of conclear, eye liner, lip balm and be out the door. And I have to say, this concealer has been my true friend around this humid times. It’s light weight, blends beautifully even with fingers, and truly does what it says, stays put without melting off your face.

Becca Champagne Glow Palette : I know I know, it was a limited addition, it is now out of stock and yes it was in my previous months favorites too. But what can I say, this is truly well loved palette, that I’m totally obsessed with. The shade that least interested me in the palette Amaretto is my go-to most loved blush shade of all times, and that is a bold statement to make, by someone who owns over more than a dozen of blushes.

MAC SPF Lip Balm In Fuchsia  : It’s probably discontinued but while packing up I rediscovered it and have been loving it ever since. It has a pretty tint of color and the Mac smell always gets on me, love it! Also it is a quick way to add a little flush to the cheeks.

Burberry Lip gloss In Nutmeg : I have been obsessed with Burberry beauty every since I got it. And this neutral lip gloss is everything you need for a pull together look. From the formula, to the color, to the wand applicator to the amazing smell of the gloss I love everything about it.

FASHION & ACCESSORIES

JORD WOOD WATCH

Basic Black Tee : I have been literally living in black tee’s ever since we moved. Love the quality and fit of H&M basics and Target Tee’s. I swear anyone who has met me in the last one week, might be under the impression that I don’t change clothes haha. But black tee’s are so versatile you can dress them up, dress them down and always look sassy and thin lol.

Tory Burch Flats : This was a birthday gift, I have the bestest little baby brother who takes care of my wishes. And these shoes are so freaking comfortable, given that shoes like these do tend to be a little uncomfortable the first time you wear them. But these are unlike any other ballet flat shoes I ever owned. They are classic and absolutely comfortable.

Slip On Fabric Shoes from HM : Love the effortless chic style and the fact how pretty darn comfortable they are to put on and just walk out the door. I have basically been loving everything from HM recently.

JORD Wood Watch * : Love the zebra wood pattern and the turquoise dial accent. There hasn’t been a day when I have worn this and I haven’t had people stop by to ask, what watch is that. And whenever people noticed the wood band, they have been nothing but intrigued and super impressed by the watch. The fact that it’s so light weight, makes it so comfortable to put on during hot humid days. When, let’s face it leather straps and metal straps do tend to get super sticky and uncomfortable, this watch has been a delightful wear.

RANDOM :

H&M HOME-WEAR

SUAVE Coconut shampoo and condition for baby : Ever since we moved into our new place, my daughter has been to the pool almost every day. And her hair has become dry as dust. Thanks to my friend who recommended this, and I have seen a difference in her hair texture in one use only.

Nature Valley Trail Mix Granola Bar : I never liked raisins or dried berries to start with. But this granola bar is addictive. Such a quick snack to make you feel sane when you have gone through the day without eating much lol.

Gold printed mug from HM : Like I said I’m obsessed with HM stuff, but the home wear is at some other level of cuteness. I did get a few bits and bobs of home stuff from their website and I’m in love with everything, specially this mug (which by the way is sold out now). And as I looked up the website to link it here I came across more cute stuff  *be steady my heart*. I shall be doing H&M home haul soon.

Despite July being quite a chaotic month and less productive blog wise, I had lots of things to share from past month. Now I’m looking forward to hearing your favorites, especially any home bits do let me know, I’d love to hear.
