Review : Max Factor Shimmer Excess

With the holiday season, I wanted to try some metallic shimmery eye shadows, not that I need any more in my life, nor do I wear them quite often to be honest.

But there was something about these, that I had to bring at least one home with me. Max Factor Shimmer excess eyeshadow pots, these comes in 6 different shades, and the ones that caught my eyes were Copper and Bronze, but I just picked bronze.

25 Bronze : It’s a very pretty chocolatey brown colour with golden shimmer, its shimmery in a fine metallic way and not necessarily glittery. Texture is quite unique which immediately caught my attention, its  like a whipped creamy goodness, without being the kinds that needs to be warmed up before using like Maybelline colour tattoo(which are a bit too solid[if not difficult] to work with) with rich pigmentations and with No Fall-OUT, yay for that, definitely luxury at a drug-store. The only concern that I had was, whether will it last for long time without creasing or rubbing off, but surprisingly it did put up for about a good few hours, gradually making their way up to my favourites list. Definitely one swipe and out the door kind of an effortless shadow. Ahhh now I can’t wait to get my hands on copper.
Anyways, here’s the link with all the colour swatches.

Retails for £7.99.
